About Temposonics

Temposonics technology began in 1975, when physicist Jacob Tellerman developed the magnetostrictive effect into the first non-contact, absolute linear position sensor. Since 1970, MTS Sensors and its Temposonics brand have been the pioneers of magnetostrictive sensing, and the technology is now part of Amphenol Corporation, carrying the same name, colors, and engineering the industry has relied on for decades.

Because the sensing element has no moving parts and isn't exposed to mechanical wear, Temposonics sensors deliver a long service life and don't require recalibration over time. The product range includes the R-Series and G-Series for standard industrial and mobile applications, the compact E-Series for space-constrained installations, MH-Series sensors built for functional safety, and Level Plus transmitters for tank level and interface measurement—available with analog, SSI, CANbus, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and POWERLINK outputs.

Flow Dynamics and Automation stocks and supplies genuine Temposonics sensors for OEM and aftermarket cylinder integration, and for sensors that need service, we coordinate factory-authorized repair through Temposonics.
