Orders & Shipping

You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, though returns may be subject to a restocking fee. If the return is the result of our error — such as an incorrect or defective item — we'll cover the return shipping cost too. See our full shipping & returns policy for details.
Yes. All returns require prior approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Flow Dynamics and Automation. Contact us with your order number and product details, and we'll respond promptly with return instructions.
Not always. If a return is due to our error, no restocking fee applies and we cover return shipping too. For change-of-mind returns on new, unopened items within 30 days, a restocking fee of up to 25% may still apply.
Refunds are typically issued within about four weeks of the date you ship your return: roughly 5–10 days transit time to reach us, 3–5 days for us to process it, and 5–10 days for your bank to post the refund.
We can ship to virtually any address worldwide, though some products carry shipping restrictions and certain items cannot be shipped internationally. Unless otherwise noted, all shipments are FOB Shipping Point, and rates for many items are weight-based.

Repairs & Field Service

Yes. Our Quantum Repair services cover valves, cylinders, and pumps, backed by over 100 years of combined experience in fluid power technology and machine maintenance. See our repair services to get started.
Every repaired pump or valve can be run on our in-house 75 HP hydraulic test stand to confirm performance before it ever leaves our shop — so you're getting a tested, verified repair, not just a rebuilt part.
Yes. Our field service group provides on-site diagnostics, repairs, turn-key installation, and general troubleshooting when you need boots on the ground rather than a shipped part.
Yes. Our in-house engineers can size, spec, and build custom hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation solutions — including PLC and motion control programming, electrical panel building, and full schematic and 3D layout drawings to your specification.
Yes, we offer fluid power and electrical training for your team as part of our engineering partnership — helping your staff get more out of the systems we build and support.

After-Hours Support

Emergency
Yes — call our after-hours line at (205) 581-1202 and leave a detailed message. Service is available on a limited basis, subject to an after-hours support fee plus our standard hourly and per diem rates, and overtime for nights, weekends, and holidays. See our after-hours support page for full details.
Please leave a description of the situation and equipment affected, any parts you believe are needed (some calls are simply about sourcing parts), how urgent the issue is, and your company name with a callback phone number and email address.
If your situation is a business-critical emergency, a representative will follow up as soon as possible. If not, we'll follow up the next business day. Availability always depends on the issue and on technician and parts availability.
Yes — many after-hours calls are simply about locating a critical part for a down situation. As a distributor with strong supplier relationships, we can help track down replacement pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, and control components quickly.
